As a native of North Alabama, Dr. Stevenson is a proud magna cum laude graduate of the University of North Alabama, the University of Alabama School of Dentistry (DMD), and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine (MD). After completing his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency in 2006 at the University of Alabama Birmingham, Dr. Stevenson opened a private practice in Decatur, where he maintains an active appointment at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Dr. Stevenson is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the American Medical Association, and the Southeastern Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
